Building project

The God of heaven will prosper us therefore we His servants will arise and build. (Nehemiah 2:20)

The colossal Equivalency Reinstatement project that is taking place at 98 Beaumont Street in Freemans Bay is a sight to behold.

The works began in 2009 after a portion of church land was compulsorily acquired by New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) to build the State Highway 1 Victoria Park Tunnel and to replace Auckland City’s public walkway.

Land Take

Land Take

The assets swallowed up in the land removal are being reinstated.   Equivalency reinstatement includes a large underground car parking facility, road fronted administration building, and an east-facing extension housing several multipurpose rooms.

At one time there were 60 Consultants involved; from the macro management of local and central government bodies, to structural and civil engineers, excavation earthworks, scaffolding, through to electrical and plumbing works, and down to the micro job of grouting services.

The entire works is an on-going and highly visible demonstration of the awesomeness of God.
