God’s Healing
God healed me of terminal cancer!  I had three weeks to live.  Having been addicted to heroin for decades and suffering greatly from the pain of terminal cancer I had given up hope of surviving.  When Pastor Max came to visit me at my home I was skin and bone.  Pastor Max put oil on me and prayed for me and the rest is history.  I am living proof that Jesus is still the Miracle Worker.

Neurosurgeons were amazed at my speedy recovery!  I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and needed immediate surgery. The specialist was not positive about my prospects for being moved to the front of a long queue.   I had medical insurance but it would cover only 80 percent of the costs and leave my family to pay the remaining 20 percent which amounted to thousands of dollars.  My family and friends and the whole church prayed for my healing.  On Sunday Pastor Foo anointed my head with oil and prayed.  Four days later I was admitted for neurosurgery.  Thirty-six hours after surgery I was chatting with my Connect Group leader.  Two days after that I was released from hospital.  One month later I was back at work!  And my family were delivered from having to pay the excess on our medical insurance.  I praise God for the many miracles He has done for me.  Jesus is truly a miracle working God.

 I want to give God the glory for healing my dad and my sister of cancer. Years ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer. The Doctors didn’t give him much hope of survival. I brought my dad to church where Pastor Max laid hands on him and prayed for him to be healed. God healed my Dad of cancer and he lived for many years after being healed. Then, recently my sister also was diagnosed with cancer. We managed to have her flown from Western Samoa to Auckland (that was a miracle too) where we once again asked Pastor Max to pray for her healing. And once again, God heard our prayers and healed my sister of cancer.

For two or three years I had suffered from constant lower back pain. I would often ask my children to rub my back for half an hour to help ease the pain. During a prophetic time in Sunday Worship service Pastor Paul pronounced that anyone who needed healing in their body should place their hand over that particular area. I did that and as Pastor Paul prayed I felt a great warmth concentrated in my lower back. The pain began to subside in seconds until it was all gone and I have had no pain since then. God has completely healed my lower back.

Thank you VCC Prayer Team for your prayers for my mother as she underwent heart surgery. Not only did she come through the operation with flying colours but she was out of hospital and home within 5 days and now experiencing the benefits of a new heart valve. Your prayers also helped renew my father’s walk with the Lord and he started going back to church again. Bless you team.

My husband was suffering from severe food poisoning. I asked the Lord what to do. I heard the Holy Spirit say “anoint him with oil”. The previous Sunday Pastor Max had spoken about anointing the sick with oil. I got a bottle of olive oil from the pantry, dabbed it on his forehead and spoke faith words over him. He immediately stopped writhing and fell into a dead sleep. The next morning he told me that as soon as the oil was dabbed on his head he physically felt the pain lift out of his stomach. God is faithful to perform His Word.

God’s Financial Prosperity
I just received my cheque from Inland Revenue for my tithes & offerings receipts. I held it in my hands and looked at it with amazement! I said, “God is this really mine??” I am so grateful to the Lord. I could never have saved that much money! All the glory goes to God.

For several months I had been working at convincing a client to buy a software package that I knew would greatly benefit his business. He kept delaying making a purchase decision. So I went to Pastor Paul, gave him the scenario, and asked if he would agree with me in prayer, that God would secure this deal for me, which Pastor Paul duly did. The next day the client phoned me to say he would be purchasing the software. Sometimes, in a drawn out business deal that needs added ‘weight’ behind it, it pays to get your Pastor’s agreement with you in prayer to bring forth a successful outcome.

God Brings Job Success
I had been out of work for three months. I asked the Lord to give me a job where I could be a blessing to the company I would be employed at. I also asked Church leadership to pray for a successful job hunt. In one week I was offered (and I accepted) a job where I was paid more than at my previous employment – and I thought I was overpaid there!
