Statement of Faith

We believe:

1. In the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God.  (2 Timothy 3:15-16)
2. In one God, eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Mark 12:29)
3. In the Virgin Birth of Christ, His vicarious atoning death, bodily resurrection and ascension.  (Isaiah 7:14, Romans 8:34, Acts 1:10)
4. In salvation by grace through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.  (Romans 3:25, Ephesians 2:8-9, Rom 10:13-15)
5. In baptism in water by immersion for believers and in the Lord’s Supper as commemorative of the sacrificial body and blood of Christ.  (Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
6. In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.  (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46, 15:8-9, 19:6)
7. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit which enables a willing and obedient follower of Jesus Christ to live a holy life.   (2 Corinthians 3:18)
8. In divine healing through the redemptive work of Christ on the cross.   (Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:13-14)
9. In the second coming of Jesus Christ.  (Acts 24:15, Luke 14:14, Revelation 19:7-9)
10. In the resurrection of the dead and God’s final judgement of all people, by which the just  shall receive everlasting life and the unjust shall receive eternal damnation.  (Daniel 12:2, Revelation 20:11-15, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Romans 14:10-11, 2 Corinthians 5:10-11, Acts 17:31)
