MAX and BEV LEGG
Senior Pastors

Max and Bev have faithfully pastored Victory for nearly 20 years.  Their passion for God; their unfeigned love for God’s church; heart for the Lost; and devoted obedience to God’s Word in the face of much opposition continues to be a source of courage and inspiration to many.  Max’s primary focus is to devote himself to prayer and to ministry of the word. (Acts 6:4)  Bev has a passion to impart into people’s lives the truths contained in God’s Word.  Bev and Max love to strengthen believers to develop into the leader that God has called each to be.  Daughter Leah and husband Federico Orloff Thomsen live in Argentina with their two boys, Philip and Dominic.  Son, Christian is married to Erlina.  They live in Indonesia.  

PAUL SAUNDERS
Associate Pastor

Paul Saunders is married to Jodie.  They have three daughters; Crista, Jenele and Dana. Paul loves good coffee, South Indian food, catching a movie with Jodie, and a holiday anyplace warm! Having been brought up in India as a missionary kid, Paul has a close connection with India, and has travelled back there numerous times over the years.  Paul oversees Missions, Outreach, and the ministries to Youth & young adults. Paul is an Elder and Trust Board member.

SOO YONG FOO
Pastor

Foo comes to us from a highly successful background in advertising.  At one time he headed the Malaysia arm of Saatchi & Saatchi before launching out on in his own in another successful advertising venture.   These days he has been promoted even higher – to the work of the Lord.  He is married to Siew-Lee.  They have two sons, Tser-kwan and Tser-jun, and one daughter, Sher-lyn.  He oversees the connect groups, and kids’ ministries, and is deeply involved in pastoral care.  He and Siew-Lee run the Alpha marriage ministry.  To book a place at the next Alpha Marriage course please phone the office or email Foo at victory@victory.org.nz. JASON PETERS
Youth Pastor

Jason oversees the four different ministries within the youth umbrella known as GENERATIONS. He loves anything to do with sport and is physically active throughout the week.

He enjoys relating the word of God to young people in a way that transforms their hearts and challenges them to change from the inside out. Jason moved over from Australia early last year and is currently studying part-time at Carey Baptist College while he leads and oversees the youth programmes at VCC.

SHI ERN GOH
Youth Ministry

Shi Ern is passionate about seeing young people reach their full potential in God. Her strength lies in nurturing the talents and abilities of young people in the area of music as well as pastoring them in the things of God. Her passion lies within the music realm; writing her own songs, jamming on her guitar or the piano and leading the music ministry for ‘Generations’. She also leads University group (VYBE) here at VCC.

PEARL WILSON
General Manager

Pearl has an extensive background in corporate sales and marketing.  Raised a PK (pastor’s kid) in the AOG church Pearl says the Lord led her into this role and she feels privileged to be involved in the work of the Lord.  She oversees the administration department.  Pearl holds a business degree in marketing and a diploma in bible studies.  She is married to John; has two sons, Czahn and Kyren; one daughter, Jayme; and three gorgeous granddaughters.

JASON BAIRD
Communications Manager

Jason’s professional experience extended into international marketing and trade at regional government level.  Answering the call of God he turned down his then dream job and headed off to India with his supportive wife Linda and children in tow.  Back in Auckland Jason now heads the Communications Department at Victory.  He and Linda have four children; Daniela, Christina, Amy and Ethan.   Jason holds a business degree in marketing.

XANDRIA SIK
Chartered Accountant

Xandria’s in-house reputation is ‘she never makes mistakes’ – a very important quality to have when dealing with other people’s money.  Xandria manages the finance and payroll department and is co-leader of Sisters in the City Connect Group.  She is married to Raymond.  They have one son, Daniel.

JOCE MCDOWALL
Receptionist / Executive Assistant

Joce has a broad scope of responsibilities at Victory not least of which is the skill and ability to make people feel special.  Joce excels in this relational area and as a prevailing prayer warrior.  Joce is married to Jim.  They have two daughters, Sarah Lazaro, and Ruth; and one son, Roy.
